Emotional health leads to physical health

Winter is outdoors, and stretches backwards with her arms above her head.
With her eyes closed and her hands on her knees, Winter sits crosslegged on the grass in a tropical setting.

The philosophy behind Move with Love is that emotional health leads to physical health. In Qigong, we believe emotions are just as important as your environment, genetics, lifestyle, etc. in terms of your wellbeing and overall quality of life.

Move with Love classes are different because they focus on intention, body awareness, and movement to get the energy flowing and to help students feel clear, centered, and ready to take on the day! Hopefully, students will leave with some tools to improve their mental and physical health.

My teaching style is supportive and calming. Current students have remarked positively about my easy demeanor, calming voice, and well-organized teaching style. My goal, as a teacher, is to get the energy flowing and to help my students connect with deeper aspects of themselves so that they can feel renewed physically, emotionally, and spiritually.

About the Founder

Hi, I’m Winter! Welcome to Move with Love!

My Qigong Journey began in 2017 when I was looking for a way to improve my mental and physical health and deepen my connection to myself and nature. I completed my first Qigong teacher training program in Thailand in 2022, and I am currently studying and completing two additional Qigong certification programs. I will continue to deepen my knowledge and expertise further through completing an additional certification program in joint health and mobility (classes coming soon)!

What makes Move with Love special? Move with Love is different from other holistic movement practices:

Move with Love routines are a growing library of ancient wisdom. Classes are seasonal and change on a monthly basis. All of Move with Love’s routines are based on Traditional Chinese Medicine theory, incorporating traditional Qigong postures and movements to create a complete holistic wellness practice. Qigong emphasizes the innate wisdom of nature and the body and teaches us how to live in harmony with nature and our true selves. Through a consistent Qigong practice, we can live better, feel better, move better, and conserve our life-force energy.

What does it mean to Move with Love? It means working with the natural rhythm of your body to create a state of peacefulness, balance, and physical and emotional wellbeing. This practice can be shared with yourself and others. It also means developing a deeper knowledge and understanding of your body, your experience, and sharing that compassion and awareness with all sentient beings. This is the essence of Move with Love.

Coming Soon: A growing Video Library of Qigong classes and preventative-care classes that focus on joint health and mobility!
